En 2021, les installations photovolta\u00efques\u202finstall\u00e9es sur 10 sites* (9 sites industriels et le site administratif de Couillet) ont ainsi produit 7 MW<\/strong> (contre 1,2 MW en 2020). Trois des sites ont de plus b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 de l\u2019installation de batteries qui offrent d\u00e9sormais une capacit\u00e9 de stockage de 1 MW. Ces batteries permettent d\u2019utiliser l\u2019\u00e9nergie photovolta\u00efque lorsque les conditions d\u2019ensoleillement sont moins favorables.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00c0 l\u2019horizon 2030, 30%<\/strong> de toute l\u2019\u00e9nergie consomm\u00e9e en interne devra ainsi \u00eatre produite \u00e0 partir de nos propres installations hydro\u00e9lectriques, \u00e9oliennes ou photovolta\u00efques. Aujourd\u2019hui, un peu plus de 6% de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 consomm\u00e9e provient de cette source, ce qui est loin d\u2019\u00eatre marginal.<\/p>\n

Sur le site de Couillet, des panneaux photovolta\u00efques d\u2019une capacit\u00e9 de 600 kW ont \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9s sur les carports afin d\u2019alimenter en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 verte le b\u00e2timent et la future flotte de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques. Le site a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9quip\u00e9 d\u2019une batterie de stockage, en vue de restituer de l\u2019\u00e9nergie en fin de journ\u00e9e, lorsque les v\u00e9hicules seront de retour et que la production solaire sera moins forte.<\/p>\n

Plusieurs initiatives ont ainsi \u00e9t\u00e9 initi\u00e9es au profit du personnel technique itin\u00e9rant. Le plus avanc\u00e9 de ces projets concerne notamment la mise \u00e0 disposition d\u2019une centaine de v\u00e9hicules hybrides aux \u00e9quipes de techniciens d\u2019infrastructure de production. Dans un premier temps, ces v\u00e9hicules seront destin\u00e9s au personnel de garde. Comme ces agents sont cens\u00e9s utiliser leur v\u00e9hicule \u00e0 toute heure du jour et de la nuit (et qu\u2019il le ram\u00e8ne \u00e0 leur domicile), il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019opter pour l\u2019achat de v\u00e9hicules hybrides qui disposent d\u2019une plus large autonomie.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

La SWDE, qui entend \u00e9galement privil\u00e9gier l\u2019utilisation de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques, a cependant d\u00e9j\u00e0 planifi\u00e9 l\u2019installation d\u2019une centaine de bornes de recharge sur nos diff\u00e9rents sites administratifs. Inscrites dans le projet \u00ab<\/span>\u202f<\/span>Yes we plant<\/b><\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00bb de la R\u00e9gion wallonne, les plantations de haies vives mises en \u0153uvre par la SWDE participent activement \u00e0 la biodiversit\u00e9 wallonne.<\/span><\/p>\n

Suite aux plantations de haies en cours et \u00e0 venir, la SWDE a re\u00e7u en 2021 les f\u00e9licitations de la Wallonie pour sa contribution au projet \u00ab\u202fYes we plant\u202f\u00bb. Organis\u00e9e par le Gouvernement de Wallonie, cette campagne ambitionne la plantation de 4.000 km de haies vives<\/strong> (ou 1 million d\u2019arbres) d\u2019ici 2024.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00c0 l\u2019heure actuelle, la SWDE dispose de +\/- 50 kilom\u00e8tres de haies<\/strong> (dont 3 km plant\u00e9s en 2020 et 5 en 2021 et 2022). Environ 80 % de ces haies (40 kilom\u00e8tres) sont entretenus deux fois par an. Les 20% restants (10 kilom\u00e8tres) sont laiss\u00e9s libres, car principalement localis\u00e9s dans des zones non urbanis\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Pour que durabilit\u00e9 rime avec s\u00e9curit\u00e9, la SWDE a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 en 2021 de confier le recyclage et de reconditionnement de ses anciens GSM et smartphones \u00e0 la firme sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e aSmartWorld. Cette entreprise a pour mission de les recycler pour valoriser les mat\u00e9riaux, les d\u00e9monter pour r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer les pi\u00e8ces ou les reconditionner pour les remettre sur le march\u00e9. Comme ces appareils sont susceptibles de contenir des donn\u00e9es confidentielles, la SWDE a \u00e9tabli avec aSmartWorld une convention rigoureuse qui impose une tra\u00e7abilit\u00e9 sans faille. Durant l\u2019ann\u00e9e, cette entreprise a repris pr\u00e8s de 500 appareils<\/strong> pour les recycler ou les reconditionner. Lorsque aSmartWorld re\u00e7oit des anciens appareils, elle renvoie une attestation sous la forme d\u2019une fiche individuelle qui confirme l\u2019effacement des donn\u00e9es et le type de valorisation dont il b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie\u202f: recyclage mati\u00e8re, recyclage pi\u00e8ce ou reconditionnement.<\/p>\n

Afin de soutenir l\u2019\u00e9conomie durable en Wallonie, la SWDE adh\u00e8re depuis quelque temps \u00e0 la charte des achats publics responsables de la R\u00e9gion wallonne. Via cette initiative, notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 s\u2019engage \u00e0 proc\u00e9der \u00e0 des achats plus responsables, tant d\u2019un point de vue \u00e9conomique, environnemental, \u00e9thique que social. La reprise de nos anciens smartphones et GSM nous pousse \u00e0 participer activement au d\u00e9veloppement de cette \u00e9conomie circulaire. Certes, l\u2019op\u00e9ration men\u00e9e en 2021 ne concernait que quelques centaines d\u2019appareils. Mais \u00e0 la SWDE, nous savons que ce sont les petits ruisseaux qui font les grandes rivi\u00e8res \u2026<\/p>\n
